The Queensland Symphony Orchestra will screen the entire film and perform Oscar®-winning composer John Williams' score live to the film over two concerts on Saturday April 22 at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, conducted by Nicholas Buc.
The Star Wars saga's mythic storytelling, captivating characters, groundbreaking special effects, and Williams' iconic musical scores have inspired audiences worldwide since the first film's release over 40 years ago.
On April 22, fans can see this beloved film in two live symphonic concerts at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.

Williams scored all nine Star Wars films, starting with 1977's Star Wars: A New Hope, which won an Academy Award® for Best Original Score. The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Force Awakens, The Last Jedi, and The Rise of Skywalker were all nominated for Best Original Score.
Williams has won five Academy Awards, four Golden Globes, seven BAFTAs, five Emmys, and 25 Grammys. Williams is the second-most-nominated person in Academy history, after Walt Disney, with 52 nominations.
The American Film Institute named Williams' Star Wars: A New Hope score the greatest American film score in 2005. "Culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant," the Library of Congress preserved the A New Hope soundtrack in the National Recording Registry.
Williams received the AFI Life Achievement Award in 2016, the Kennedy Center Honors in 2004, the National Medal of Arts in 2009, and the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2000. Williams scored eight of the 20 highest-grossing U.S. films (adjusted for inflation).
Disney Concerts licences the Star Wars: Film Concert Series from 20th Century Fox and Warner/Chappell Music.
