Polygraf AI Browser Extension Ends Fake Reviews
Polygraf Inc. released its cutting-edge AI browser extension on the Chrome Web store today, advancing e-commerce transparency. This groundbreaking tool identifies and flags fake or AI-generated reviews on Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy, the most popular online retail platforms. The trust engine, available for Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, promises to make online shopping more trustworthy.
In 2021, the global fake reviews industry was $152B (of which $59B was in the U.S.), with 12 cents of every dollar spent online going to fake review-generated sales of inferior products and services. This will rise with Generative AI and LLMs. Polygraf's groundbreaking browser extension uses behavioural and sentiment AI to detect fake reviews, providing impartial ratings and trust scores for products and reviews, saving consumers time and money.
Yagub Rahimov, an award-winning fintech entrepreneur, founded Polygraf in 2021 to tackle the growing problem of human and AI-generated misinformation. The company will launch more products using its multilayer AI protocol to authenticate digital text, audio, and video for consumers, businesses, and governments.
"10 seconds into a new century," says Yagub. Trust will be the next human right after AI-human coexistence. Our AI protocol outperforms all other products in identifying AI-generated content and exposing malicious content in internal tests. Polygraf will enable one-click online trust. This mission begins with our ecommerce browser extension."
Punja Global Ventures, Gaingels, Seahorse Express, Machina Ventures, Sputnik ATX, Quansight Initiate, Omakase Capital, Trent Pool, Aloe Blacc, Vince Lane, Koh Onozawa, Dustin Byington, Qian Wang, Jimmy Ku, and 10 others invest in Polygraf.
"With an exponentially vast amount of user-generated and AI-generated content flooding the internet, accurate content labelling is critical. "Polygraf's AI verification platform will benefit government agencies, enterprises, media franchises, cyber security companies, and public figures," said Punja Global Ventures Managing Partner Manmeet Singh Bhasin.
Last summer, I pretended a blond, blue-eyed man was singing my song in Mandarin. Someone recorded me singing "Wake Me Up" in Mandarin using his voice and singing. Polygraf solves an existential problem most of us don't realise exists. Aloe Blacc, a Polygraf early investor and chart-topper, says.
Polygraf's leadership team includes co-founders Vignesh Karumbaya (COO), former General Manager at The Groupshopper, Anton Stepaniuk (CMO), former Head of Marketing at Samsung in Ukraine & Moldova, and Elyas Omar (Technical Lead), a 22-year-old Afghan refugee and leading cyber-security specialist. All share a passion for building Polygraf into a global trust engine and creating a reliable and authentic digital ecosystem.
Polygraf AI was built and trained live on Testedweb.com, a beta consumer reviews marketplace. The Polygraf browser extension shows that the protocol can now detect and authenticate AI and human-generated content and determine its trustworthiness in real time. The company will soon launch SaaS and API solutions.
Polygraf AI has over 10,000 whitelisted users and 700 small businesses in its live beta on TestedWeb.com. A major decentralised validation and notarization provider awarded the company $1,000,000 in grants. Dealroom named it the Top Analytics Startup to Watch Globally, the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce named it Top Startups in Austin, and SXSW/Established Startup Of The Year 2023 Top 10.
